I started racing in the juniors at Standlake Arena in Oxfordshire at the age of 10. The juniors race 1000cc minis and are graded on ability with white tops (novices )at the front followed by yellows, blues then reds. Having won the championship I was then a gold roof and had to start at the very back. Last year I moved up a year early to the Adult Production A class. This was much harder and starting at the back I had a very successful year and went on to win the class.
i then moved into the hot rods and done that class for 2 years. after that i decided for a change and to sell up, i am now racing in the saloon rods at standlake, and basically it's road cars with a H frame. even though the class is non contact there still however is bumping going on out on the track, this makes the racig very enjoyable.
